• Medical Economics honors Cambridge Southern by naming two of its Wealth Managers to its
coveted list of “Best Financial Advisors for Doctors”

Cambridge Southern is pleased to announce that it has once again been named to the annual “Best Financial Advisors for Doctors” list, published by Medical Economics magazine in its November 2011 issue. The magazine named Robert Hockett and Barry Kaplan “Best Financial Advisers for Doctors.” Cambridge is especially pleased since the magazine named only 4 advisors in the entire state of Georgia and Cambridge accounted for half that number.

list of “Five Star Wealth Managers”

Robert Hockett and Barry Kaplan of Cambridge Southern Financial Advisors have been named to an exclusive list of Five Star Wealth Managers. Atlanta Magazine hired an independent market research company to administer rigorous “Best in Client Satisfaction” research on financial services professionals. More than 95,000 consumers and 9,000 financial professionals were asked to evaluate Atlanta wealth managers. Both negative and positive responses regarding each advisor were assessed. In addition to the survey results, other evaluation criteria (such as years experience, compliance records, regulatory actions, licensure, etc) were incorporated into the overall evaluation process. The final list was reviewed by a Blue Ribbon Panel of local financial services industry experts before being awarded.

Wealth managers were rated by their clients and financial service professionals based on service, integrity, knowledge, experience, expertise, communications, value for fees charged, meeting financial objectives, level of service, quality of recommendations and overall client satisfaction. In the end, the Five Star Wealth Manager award was bestowed to less than 7% of all Atlanta wealth management professionals. It is a way for consumers to help other consumers identify high quality service professionals who consistently provide exceptional client satisfaction.
This is the only service award for Atlanta financial professionals based on direct client satisfaction. An independent third party company conducted the client-based research. Checks and balances were in place to avoid conflicts of interest. The recipients of the awards paid no fees to be evaluated or granted the award.
